Our Services

Regulatory, Certification, and Verification Solutions

The Medical Council of Physicians of the Republic of Armenia provides a comprehensive suite of regulatory, certification, and verification services. We are dedicated to supporting our medical professionals in their domestic practice while facilitating seamless international mobility and credential recognition.

Professional Certification

We issue the core legal documentation required to validate a practitioner's qualifications, ethical standing, and current clinical status.

Certificate of Good Standing (CGS)

An internationally recognized document verifying that a medical professional has no disciplinary proceedings, malpractice claims, or restrictions on their practice. Required for employment abroad, this certificate generally remains valid for 3 to 6 months from issuance.

Certificate of Current Professional Status (CCPS)

A formal declaration of the physician's current active standing. It details their clinical privileges, specialized qualifications, and compliance with continuous medical education (CME) requirements.

Registration Certificate (Health License)

The primary official credential confirming that a specialist has successfully passed state accreditation and holds the lawful right to practice medicine within the Republic of Armenia.

International Licensing & Primary Source Verification (PSV)

The Council operates as a verified state actor within the global medical community. We conduct rigorous credential authentication (Primary Source Verification) directly with issuing educational institutions to prevent qualification fraud.

We provide official document preparation and direct, secure transmission to major international healthcare regulators, including:

  • Global Boards: General Medical Council (GMC, UK), General Dental Council (GDC, UK), Medical Council of Canada.
  • USA Regulators
  • UAE Regulators: Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), and Sharjah Health Authority (SHA).
  • AHPRA & Europe: Various European health ministries and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

Practitioner Registration & Evaluation

We oversee the mandatory evaluation and licensing processes for all healthcare providers entering the Armenian medical system.

  • Primary Registration: Processing accreditation for domestic medical graduates.
  • Foreign-Trained Practitioners: Comprehensive credential evaluation, diploma validation, and registration guidance for international medical professionals seeking to practice within the Republic of Armenia.

Legal Support & Public Resources

Spacer to align lists if needed, otherwise this is extra.

  • Legal Translation Services: Certified and notarized translations of medical diplomas, academic transcripts, and regulatory decrees. All translations are performed by sworn translators specialized in medical terminology to meet strict international criteria.
  • National Registry Access: Maintenance of the open-access public registry. This allows employers, international boards, and the general public to instantly verify the credentials and registration status of any practicing healthcare professional in Armenia.
